Garden Festival 2018 Rare Plants & Garden Ornaments Sale

Our Event this year will be held on
 May 4th (preview evening)
and Saturday, May 5th 


Please read the information that follows about what to expect when you become a vendor at Garden Festival.

Vendor space is extremely limited.

Fee   $250.00 and 10% of your gross sales.

Materials and Set-up
Garden vendors can expect a 10' x 10' tent (and two 8 foot tables w/chairs) as well as some designated space outside the tent for display of merchandise. For the most part, non-plant vendors will be under a large tent in front of the Manor House ( 10' x 10' space ), or in the barn Gallery with two 8 foot tables and two chairs. (10' x 10' space)

You will assume full responsibility for unloading your materials.Please bring any carts or trolleys that you may need for unloading and loading and please come staffed accordingly.
 Please come prepared to manage your sales. We recommend that you be prepared to take credit/debit cards if possible.Please consider providing sales receipts. It makes tracking items much more efficient.

Ladew will provide plant stakes to be used to identify the buyer but not to be used for pricing. Please come prepared to price all your merchandise.

We do not anticipate frost but you may want to bring frost covers if you feel it necessary-we are zone 7a.

Preview Event on Friday Evening
We will be holding a preview cocktail reception and sale on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 8pm in the Hunt Scene. This event will take place rain or shine. We will need all vendors set up and ready to sell by 5:15 Friday evening (no trucks will be admitted to the Hunt Scene to unload after 3:00 on Friday afternoon!) In order to make sure you are well nourished before the evening sale begins we will have a vendor meeting in the Café Courtyard at 4:30pm. We will have a complimentary lasagna dinner for 2. Additional guests may attend for $10 each.

 More Food!
Complimentary continental breakfast for two will be available in the vendor tent in the Hunt Scene at 7am. Two complimentary lunches will be delivered from Ladew’s Café to your vendor tent starting at 11 am. You will receive tickets for breakfast and lunch when you arrive. Additional tickets are available for $8.

 The Event
The gates for the Garden Festival open at 8:00 a.m.  Saturday morning volunteers will be on hand in abundance all day to help facilitate customer purchases and pick-up.  Shopping will end at 4:00 and you will be free to depart when you are packed up. Please no early packing.
