Ages:  2-6 years with an adult
Times:  10:30 – 11:15 a.m.(ages 2 to 4 recommended)  or 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. (ages 3 to 6 recommended)

Individual Program Fee: Members $5 per child/adult pair, Non-members $15 per child/adult pair.
Additional siblings only $5 each! 
Includes admission to the Gardens (weather permitting). Space is limited.
Advanced registration and payment is required.

Storytime in the Gardens 2015 

Summer Series ( July - August )

Tuesday, July 14: Crazy for Caterpillars   (Sorry, both sessions are sold out)
Whether fuzzy, smooth, striped or spotted, caterpillars are so fun to watch.  We will visit the butterfly house and read about caterpillars and the butterflies or moths that they grow into.
Wednesday, July 22: Lets go camping (Sorry, both sessions are sold out)
Playing, sleeping and eating outside is fun!  Let’s hike to Ladew’s woods for a story time about camping fun!
Tuesday, August 11: Seagulls and Sandpipers   (Sorry, both sessions are sold out)
Let’s imagine that we’re birds at the beach as we read about fun in the sun, sand and water.
Wednesday, August 19: Over in the Meadow (Sorry, the 10:30 session is sold out.  A few spaces remain in the 12:30 session)
Let’s head to the meadow to read about the many beautiful wildflowers growing there and the bugs and animals who call the meadow home.

Fall Storytime

Tuesday, Sept. 8:  Ladew is for the Birds! 
As we all get excited for this year’s Children’s Day, let’s read all about our fine, feathered friends and the diverse lives they live.
Wednesday, Sept. 23rd: Animal A,B, C’s
From Aardvarks to Zebras, we’ll have fun marching through an alphabet of animals!
Tuesday, Oct. 6: Pumpkin Seeds and Apple Pie
Pumpkins and apples provide us with some yummy treats.  Let’s read all about these two wonderful fruits that we harvest every fall.
Wednesday, Oct. 21st :  Whoo’s There? Owl Fun! 
October is a great time to learn about owls.  Let’s read about these very mysterious birds of the night.
Tuesday, Nov. 3rd :  Elephant Antics 
We will have BIG fun as we learn all about elephants-some of the most social, creative, and caring creatures on Earth.
Wednesday, Dec. 16th : Oh Deer!! 
Deer are great symbols of grace, strength and beauty.  Let’s learn about these amazing animals and some of their close relatives.
