Ceremonies and Receptions


Located on 250 acres with 22 acres of formal gardens, Ladew Gardens offers a distinctive and beautiful setting for your special day.  Ceremonies can be held in the Portico Garden or on the Meadow Terrace.  Receptions are held in the charming Café Courtyard. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour is held adjacent to the Woodland and Berry Gardens with the historical Manor House as a backdrop

One of the many benefits of having your wedding reception at Ladew is the exclusive opportunity to schedule a formal session with your photographer for wedding portraits in the Gardens.  Use of the gardens the evening of your event for photography is also included.

Ceremonies and/or receptions are held Saturday or Sunday evenings from 6:00pm-11:00pm.  Ceremony rehearsals are included in the package and held the evening before.

The facilities rental fee is $8,000 and includes a one year Garden Patron membership.  There is an additional $5,500-$6,000 fee for rental of the tent for the reception.  The variance in price for the tent depends on weather conditions and if sides and/or additional canopies are needed. Tent rental fees include dance floor and lighting.  

Please note that in the event of inclement weather, ceremonies are held in the reception tent. 
Maximum number of guests is 175.

 Ceremony Only

For the happy couple that only wants to have their ceremony in a world class garden, we offer the unique opportunity of exchanging their vows in the Portico Garden or next to the Meadow.
Your rental is from 6:00pm-7:30pm and includes seating for 150 guests and the opportunity for wedding photography in the Gardens while your guests to enjoy the picturesque setting.  The rental fee is $3,000.  An optional Champagne Toast served to your guests in the Terrace Garden after the ceremony is available for an additional $500.00.

The area is not tented, so in case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled and there is a $1,500 cancellation fee. All efforts will be made to hold the event, therefore the decision to cancel will be made on or before 4:30pm the day of the event.
