Join us for exclusive private tours of the British Embassy Residence 8-acre English gardens, The Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral and Dumbarton Oaks. Enjoy lunch and shopping at the National Cathedral and plant shopping at Behnkes Nursery.

The 1928 British Embassy Residence is the only example of Sir Edwin Lutyens work in North America . The 8-acre gardens are laid out in typical English manor house style with many garden rooms.

The Bishop’s Garden at The Washington National Cathedral was originally designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. in the 1920s and includes perennial borders, herb beds, a rose garden and specimen trees. You will be able to lunch in the newest garden space, the All Hallows Guild Amphitheater.

The Dumbarton Oaks gardens, designed by Beatrix Farrand, are a mix of English, Italian and French styles. Highlights include a circa 1910 Orangery, rose garden and English country garden.
