Your contributions are invaluable and vital to the Gardens’ livelihood, whether guiding school groups through our gardens, assisting the horticulture staff, hosting visitors, or helping share the wonders of our native butterfly house. Field Trip Volunteer
Training Course

Discover the joy of teaching children about nature in the outdoors. Learn plant and animal identification skills, general ecology concepts, and outdoor teaching techniques.

Registration, background checks, and fingerprinting are required.

Camp Volunteer Opportunity for Teens and Adults
Volunteer with Ladew’s nature camp, while learning and having fun at the same time!  Assist staff with daily activities including outdoor explorations, games, crafts, program set up, program breakdown and overall supervision of camp children, ages 4 to 9 years.  (New volunteers require an interview and background check/fingerprinting.)

Ages:  14 years & older
Time Commitment:  3 -5 days per week; June 15 – July 24

4-6 hours per day, depending on camp week
