Saturday, April 20: Earth Day is Everyday

Let’s honor the place we all call home! Create an earth day craft, learn ways to help keep our planet clean and healthy, plant a wildflower seed and/or take home a tree sapling to plant in your yard (while supplies last). Then, head out into the Gardens for more fun with a themed scavenger hunt.

Saturday, May 18: Nature’s Mommas

Continue to celebrate Mother’s Day as we learn and explore mothers in the wild. There will be games and crafts to enjoy before venturing into the gardens in search of the mothers and babies of Ladew.

Saturday, June 15: Pond Search

Spring has sprung and the ponds are jumping with lots of activity. Come along as we scoop the garden ponds in search of tadpoles, dragonfly babies and more.

Saturday, July 20: Magical Meadows

The meadows are buzzing with life all around us. Join us as we use sweep nets to ID and observe the different insects that call Ladew home.

Saturday, August 17: Ladew Under a Microscope

See Ladew from a whole new perspective - under the lens of a microscope! Discover parts of nature materials you may never have noticed with just your naked eye.

Saturday, September 14: Cool Camo

Look closely, or you’ll miss it! Join us as we search for the critters that utilize camouflaging techniques to blend into their habitat.
